Case Study #1
Arizona State Department of Health:
The Arizona State Department of Health was looking for the rapid deployment of backup satellite systems for hospitals and clinics throughout the state in order to meet their HRSA grant requirement. After experiencing difficulty locating a company that could effectively undertake a project of such magnitude on such a short basis, the DHS began to explore certified state contract carriers. Strategic Technology Communications was not only able to complete this project in the specified timeframe, but was also able to install our state-of-the-art maintenance and monitoring system to ensure that all 166 sites were running and in place in the event of an emergency. To compliment the satellite Internet solution provided by STC, we have also been given the responsibility of maintaining the 66 satellite phones located in hospitals and clinics throughout the State.

Case Study #2
A school district in the southern part of Arizona, made up of five campuses, wanted to offer high-speed Internet connection to its students, and high-speed access, data transfer and file access to its administrators. STC was able to deliver exactly what the school district needed.

First, the school district contacted the local telephone company, hoping they could provide the kind of technology the district needed. Due to their outdated infrastructure, the phone company was only able to provide slower links, and could only connect four out of the district's five schools. The fifth one was just “too far”, according to the phone company, even though it was only 10 miles away.

After careful planning and engineering, STC linked all five of the locations using broadband, high-speed wireless communications on one WAN (Wide Area Network). Now, students can access the Internet virtually instantly and all of the district's school administrators, regardless of location, can communicate seamlessly as if they were sitting side-by-side.

Case Study #3
An international land development company, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona occupies three separate buildings within a few blocks of each other. To do their jobs effectively, the company’s staff must exchange large data files several times a day. Within a short period of time, it became clear to the company’s managers that the use of traditional Internet links was causing a delay in the exchange of critical data, not to mention the method they were using was not very secure.

STC now provides this company with a private and secure WAN (Wide Area Network) that makes file transfer and data exchange fast and effortless. In engineering this WAN, STC combined several state-of-the-art microwave technologies and implemented sophisticated wiring schemes including fiber optics.
